SELECTION OF SITE The site is suita le for all types of surveying such as chain surveying. Theodolitesurveying # levelling # plane ta le # surveying# etc. there are so many features such as  uilding # wood # drains # play grounds # etc. $ . OBJECT OF SURVEYING The o %ect of surveying is the preparation of plan or map of the area& it determines the position of the area. It determines the inner details of a track of a country. 'o that amap or plan can e easily prepared.The main o %ects of a survey camp are( ã )reparation of map of given area ã *omputation of area of plot ã )reparation of contour map 4.METHODS OF SURVEYING +econnaissance 'urveying includes the following steps(1., servation of suita le positions for surveying.2.'election of suita le positions for traverse stations$.etermination of inter disa ility and height of station4.*ollection of miscellaneous information regarding water supply# food# la our and guides etc..*ollection of more previous data to choose the est location for the work andto estimate the exact uantities and cost.
