I work well as a team member but also have the initiative to work and make decisions for myself. I have a hard work ethic, positive attitude and thrive in pressure situations. Qualifications/Certification  Siemens wind turbine level 2-3  Technical safety training.  Electrical engineering.  Bolt torque and tensioning.  Turbine erection.  OPITO Rigging and lifting level 2.  IOSH Managing safely.  GWO working at height and rescue.  GWO first aid.  GWO manual handling.  GWO fire awareness.  GWO sea survival and boat transfer.  OPITO Helicopter underwater escape/personalsurvival.  Slinger banksman.  Offshore medical.  Palfinger and Hiab operator.

May - October 2015  Supervisor / Painting technician.  Carrying out painting and mechanical work on the TP section during the construction phase. Working in small teams using the Hempal paint system.  Working together with the Paint inspector and Ropeaccess supervisor to achieve daily targets set by the client. ( Between January 2014 and February 2015 I took a year out and travelled Australia ) London Array Offshore Wind Farm – 2012/2013  Offshore assembly, MPI Discovery.  Lifting operations.  Working in teams of 8 building and assembling the turbine from transition level using specialised lifting and rigging equipment.  Fitting lower and upper towers, nacelle and blades.  Installation of internal cables.  Removal of Gen-set using nacelle and davit crane.  Snagging, finishing remaining works on turbines before handover to client.  Cable retro fitting in nacelle.  Task approved to shut down and isolate the turbine during lifting operations. Lynx Offshore Wind Farm – 2012  Cable pulling TowerTeam  Working in a 4 man tower team liaising with cable laying vessels.  Pulling sea cable using Rigging equipment from vessel to transition piece.  Communicating between vessel and tower during operations.
  • 3.  De-rigging each location after operations have finished.  Meeting deadlines set by the client manager. Ormonde Offshore Wind Farm - 2011  Operations supervisor – Inspections  Managing a small team to carry out anchor point inspections throughout the turbine.  Implementing and directing daily tasks to the team.  Inspecting all anchor points on nacelle roof using specialised equipment.  Liaising with the client and senior managers to meet targets and deadlines.  Organising a small team using rotational shifts. Walney 2 Offshore Wind Farm - 2011  Lifting operations/Fallarrest inspections supervisor  Removal of gen-set from all locations using davit crane and offshore vessel.  Maintaining all generators on each turbine before removal.  Refuelling.  Inspecting and maintaining all Latch way safety equipment to ensure boat transfers could be managed safely.  Inspecting Latchway fall arrests systems throughout wind farm  identifying any damages, removing Latchway where needed and replacing with new unit. Thanate Offshore Wind Farm - 2011  Confined space.  Working in small teams on the foundations to determine any movement from foundations to mono-pile.  Confined spaceand rescue, working with a specialist team on the foundations, carrying out all safety checks and procedures so all work could be carried out by the confined spaceteam.  Turbine Painting. Carrying out small repairs on the exterior of the turbine. Working alongside rope access technicians. Trained in the use of Hempal Paint system. Walney 1 Offshore Wind Farm – 2010  Inspecting fall arrests on transfer ladder  Maintaining generators on each location.  Carrying out full services including oil and filter renewal.  Refuelling all locations.  Snagging work where need, suggested by the client.
